This week also stock markets painted with red

This week markets trade for three days only, on the account of General Election day on 29th April and Maharashtra Divas on 01st May stocks markets will not work. Companies quarter ending results, election polls and its polling procedure in many states will lead the domestic market. On the global front, international indications viz., Rupee and Crude Oil price fluctuations show their impact on the markets due to demand and supply. FIIs and DIIs investments are the key inflows which also show its impact on this week’s markets.

On Monday: General Election day in Maharashtra

On Tuesday: Indices dragged down the markets after general election day due to Yes bank stocks is tumbled down after its Q4 results. As we already know, Yes Bank announced ₹1506 crores lose for the Q4 and the Macquarie, the rating agency double downgrades its rating and totalling 29 per cent of the share price was dragged down. Even though IT stocks boosted and rupee appreciated, Investor sentiment slightly negative and concluded with low losses. S&P SENSEX and NIFTY 50 lost 36 and 07 points respectively.

On Wednesday: Maharashtra Divas

On Thursday: Indian benchmark indices fluctuated throughout the trading session due to Vehicle and IT stocks selling pressure. Purchasing Managers Index (PMI) stood at 8 months low and also international market fluctuations hit the investor sentiment. IT stocks are painted with red because of rupee appreciation. S&P SENSEX and NIFTY 50 lost 50 and 23 points respectively.

On Friday: Indices are fluctuated heavily due to global and domestic pressures and FMCG, IT, Pharma and Metal stocks painted with red even some buying seen in the Auto, Bank, Energy and Infra. This week almost every day of trading concluded almost flat compared with the previous day of trading. S&P SENSEX and NIFTY 50 lost 18 and 13 points respectively.
