New frontier relation between India and Russia

India’s Oil minister Dharmendra Pradhan said after a meeting with Mr. Yury Trutney, (Russia’s Deputy Prime Minister) that India and Russia continue to bolster their energy cooperation, and now India is looking at ways to establish oil shipping routes from Russia’s which discussed the opening of “new frontiers of co-operation” between India and Russia’s Far East, especially in the oil and gas sector. India also invited Russian companies to invest in future city gas networks across the country and expressed India’s interest in boosting its oil and gas investments in Russia. Russia, as one of the world’s largest oil and natural gas producers could become an important source to meet India’s energy needs.

This week commodity market Gold, Silver and Crude Oil futures contracts closed with gains as follows:

GOLD 10 g” (99.9 Pure)

  • In the commodity market last week Gold Aug 2019 futures contract closed at ₹ 33,045 with an aggregate gain of ₹ 109 only.
  • In the current week Gold Aug futures contract opened at ₹ 33,059 on Monday.
  • Gold Highest gain ₹ 947 on Thursday.
  • Gold Highest loss ₹ 24 on Monday
  • Week last day i.e. Friday Gold closed at ₹34,167 with the aggregate gain of ₹1122 only.

SILVER (1 KG)

  • In the commodity market last week Silver July 2019 futures contract closed at ₹37,035 with an aggregate loss of ₹309 only.
  • In the current week Silver July futures contract opened at ₹37,151 on Monday.
  • Silver highest gain ₹1,061 on Thursday.
  • Silver highest loss ₹411 on Friday.
  • Week last day i.e. Friday Silver closed at ₹37,954 with the aggregate gain of ₹919 only.

CRUDE OIL (1 BBL)

  • In the commodity market last week Crude oil June 2019 futures contract closed at ₹3,675 with an aggregate loss of ₹47 only, and the contract also closed on 19th June 2019 i.e. Wednesday at ₹3,745 only. July contract will be continued from Thursday on wards.
  • In the current week Crude Oil futures July contract opened at ₹3,712 on Monday.
  • Crude Oil highest gain ₹203 on Thursday.
  • No losses pinned for the week.
  • Week last day i.e. Friday Crude Oil closed at ₹4,017 with an aggregate loss of ₹307 only.
