India buys first ever cargo of US crude oil-source

India’s state-run Mangalore Refinery and Petrochemicals Ltd. has made its first purchase of U.S.-produced Thunder Horse crude oil via a tender and the price offered was very competitive for mid-October delivery. Its Managing Director M. Venkatesh said on Friday. MRPL, which used to be Iran’s second-biggest Indian oil client, operates a 300,000 barrels per day coastal refinery in the southern Karnataka state.

GOLD 10 g” (99.9 Pure)

  • In the commodity market last week Gold Aug 2019 futures contract closed at ₹34,206 with an aggregate gain of ₹39 only.
  • This week Gold Aug futures contract opens at ₹34,138 on Monday.
  • Gold Highest gain ₹399 on Tuesday.
  • Gold Highest loss ₹563 on Friday.
  • Week last day i.e. Friday Gold closed at ₹34,583 with an aggregate gain of ₹377 only.


SILVER (1 KG)

  • Last week Silver July 2019 futures contract closed at ₹37,452 with an aggregate loss of ₹502 only.
  • This week Silver July futures contract opens at ₹38,099 on Monday.
  • Silver highest gain ₹397 on Tuesday.
  • Silver highest loss ₹817 on Monday.
  • Week last day i.e. Friday Silver closed at ₹37,316 with the aggregate loss of ₹136 only and full contract also closed on 5th July 2019 itself.

CRUDE OIL (1 BBL)

  • In the commodity market last week Crude oil July 2019 futures contract closed at ₹4,095 with  an aggregate gain of ₹78 only.
  • This week Crude Oil futures July contract opens at ₹4,040 on Monday.
  • Crude Oil highest gain ₹36 on Friday.
  • Crude Oil Highest loss ₹106 on Tuesday.
  • Week last day i.e. Friday Crude Oil closed at ₹3,933 with an aggregate loss of ₹162 only.
