₹ vs US$

This week Forex markets worked for 3 days only, rest of the 2 days holidays on the occasion of Independence Day and Parsi New Year. Coming to the details in this week Indian Rupee hits all-time low with 70 rupees a dollar on 14th Aug 2018 due to economic crises in Turkey, it’s in almost 5 years and 0.21% down compared with previous day close at ₹68.93. Markets are drastically down by the huge depreciation in Turkish Lira and investors are in fear about their asset classes especially currency. The Indian currency opened at ₹69.84 and touched low at ₹69.75 and high at ₹70.08 a dollar Foreign Currency debt.

Last week US Dollar closed at ₹68.83, in the current week on Monday i.e. 13th August 2018 $ gains ₹1.11 and highest lose 0.04 paisa on Tuesday i.e. 14th August 2018

  • US Dollar closed at ₹70.15 with gain of 0.26 paisa.
  • After some fluctuations US Dollar concluded positively with the gain of ₹1.33.
  • The highest close of US$ for this week ₹70.15.
