Commodities sets at new highs

Commodity market also worked for four days only, on the account of Gandhi Jayanthi market took a holiday. This week commodity market Gold, Silver and Crude Oil futures contracts closed with gains. Gold October, Silver and Crude Oil futures contracts closed with gains as follows

GOLD 10 g” (99.9 Pure)

  • In the commodity market last week Gold October futures contract closed at 30,481 with the aggregate loss of ₹101 only.
  • In current week Gold futures contract opens at 30,501 on Monday i.e. 01st Oct 2018
  • Gold highest gain ₹417 on 03rd Oct. 2018
  • Gold highest loss ₹40 on 05th Oct. 2018
  • Week last day i.e. Friday Gold closed at ₹31,090 with the aggregate gain of ₹609
  • Gold October Futures Contract closed also on Friday i.e. 05th October 2018 and now December 2018 future contract in the queue.

SILVER (1 KG)

  • In the Last week Silver December futures contract closed at 38,577 with the gain of ₹987 only.
  • In current week Silver futures contract opens at ₹38,500 on Monday i.e. 01st Oct. 2018
  • Silver highest gain ₹647 on 03rd Oct. 2018
  • Silver highest loss ₹132 on 01st Oct. 2018
  • Week last day i.e. Friday Silver closed at ₹39,274 with the aggregate gain of ₹697 only.

CRUDE OIL (1 BBL)

Brent crude oil prices are hovering above 86$ a barrel which is the most since November 2014 due to impending sanctions on Iran’s petroleum industry would lead to constricted supplies. Oil price gained more than 50 per cent in the past one year.

Crude oil imports need to decrease and have to look over an alternative to the same because it occupies around 80 per cent of the import bill to India – says Mr. Nitin Gadkari, Ministry of Transport Dept.

  • Last week in the commodity market, Crude Oil October futures contract closed at ₹5,335 with the aggregate gain of ₹189 only.
  • In the current week Crude Oil October futures contract opens at ₹5,150 on Monday i.e. 24th Sept. 2018
  • Crude oil highest gain ₹166 on 01st Oct 2018
  • Crude oil highest loss ₹159 on 04th Oct 2018
  • Week last day i.e. Friday Crude Oil closed at ₹5,546 with the aggregate gain of ₹211 only.
